Like most creative professionals, I’ve had an interesting career...
After five years in television production, I went back to school to pursue my dream of working with young artists. I earned my bachelors in Art History from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and my masters in Aesthetics and Politics from the California Institute of the Arts.

After graduating from CalArts, I stuck around for a few years as the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Character and Experimental Animation Programs. During this time, I was also Special Faculty for the School of Film/Video and the School of Critical Studies.

Recently, I was the Senior Recruiter for Sony Pictures Animation. I worked to find talented artists with fresh perspectives for the film and television divisions. In addition, I expanded their university relations programs to include more state universities and community colleges.

I’ve provided portfolio reviews, workshops, and classes to aspiring artists and animators across the United States and Canada.
I have the heart of an educator, the curiosity of an academic, and the experience and insight that only comes from working with artists at every level of creative production.
